Meet Jenni, camping with Noodelist
Meet Jenni: Outdoor Enthusiast Powered by Noodelist
Find out who has been sneaking into her pantry lately.
We at Noodelist heart Jenni B. Not only was she one of our first customers, but she continues to wow us with her adventures, and Noodelist is honored to be one of the essential meals in her backpack, and also in her cupboard at home.
Originally from Finland and currently living in California, Jenni is an avid outdoor hiker, who enjoys camping with her family in remote areas.
“Noodelist is a favorite on our backpacking trips. They are light to carry, have a good amount of protein, and we can whip up a quick meal just by boiling water. I also like to get creative and add natural ingredients like dried lingonberries and stinging nettle. In the picture, I’m enjoying lunch next to the stunning Ropi lake in Desolation Wilderness.” - Jenni B.
What gave Jenni the idea to take Noodelist camping? Well, Noodelist is a regular lunch that all family members enjoy, so it was sure to be a hit while roughing it, plus providing the required fuel needed for long hikes.
You might be surprised to learn that Jenni wasn’t always a noodle fan. “A friend recommended that I try Noodelist noodles, but I wasn’t expecting to like them. My teenagers were super excited as they were pretty much never allowed to eat instant noodles. I have been anti-noodles for ages as I get headaches from them due to all the toxic stuff included, so I didn't want my kids to eat them either. So... we made the Noodelist noodles per the recipe, fast and simple, for the family. We ALL just loved them, and I didn’t have any adverse reactions because the ingredients were real. I needed to read the ingredients list a couple of times just to be sure that there was no bad stuff in them. The rest is history, and now Noodelist is our go-to meal.”
And there’s a funny story that Jenni wants to share about her kids.
“I have caught my teenagers sneaking into our pantry and making Noodelist for lunch even when I have prepared something else for lunch already. They look so guilty when I suddenly surprise them while they boil water for their noodles. It's hard to be upset though ..”.
No need to be upset at all. Be happy and noodle on! Thank you Jenni and family for being Noodelists :)
