Meet Maija Lähdesmäki - She is behind most of the Noodelist noodle dish pictures you have seen on our website. She not only photographs them but also cooks and plates them very aesthetically using the bowls and plates created from her studio.

Here's Maija's story and her inspiration:

"I am, an artist inspired by nature, music, my state of mind, and reflected in my ceramics, food and photography. 15 years ago, as a mother of two young kids (now four), I realized that I need time of my own, and I had a deep desire to engage my creative mind into something.

Like a flower vase gives the shape and form to flowers, a plate can make food look better (and taste better)."
